Getting to Yorkshire Sculpture Park

By Road
Situated on the A637, one mile from junction 38 of the M1.

Please pay for parking any time during your visit. You will be asked to type in your car registration number. The system takes both cash and card.

Motorcycles are free – please donate.
Coaches – please report to the Information Desk on arrival.

Parking charges apply to all visitors including blue-badge holders. YSP is a charity and your parking fee supports everything we do.

By Train
Wakefield Westgate is the nearest main line station, around 7 miles from YSP. A taxi from the station costs in the region of £14 book online at London King's Cross to Wakefield takes around 2 hours.

By Bus

During exhibition times a free minibus shuttle service is in operation between YSP Centre and Longside Gallery. Alternatively, Longside Gallery can be reached by following an attractive walking route (approx. 2km each way). Please note that the route follows an uneven path with uphill stretches and may not be suitable for some visitors. Journey time: approximately 40 minutes each way.

There is no onsite parking at Longside Gallery except for Blue Badge holders.
