Gary Hume: Flashback

2 February - 15 April 2012

Leeds Art Gallery

Gary Hume, one of the most vital and interesting artists of his generation, is the third artist to be represented in the Arts Council Collection’s ‘Flashback’ series, following on from Bridget Riley and Anish Kapoor.  Opening at Leeds Art Gallery, ‘Gary Hume: Flashback’ will revisit the artist’s earlier works which feature in the Arts Council Collection, using them as a starting point for reflection on his wider, subsequent practice.  The exhibition will include paintings and sculptures by the artist.
