We regularly work in partnership with the National Poetry Library, the most comprehensive and accessible collection of poetry from 1912 in Britain.

Inspired by Steve Johnston’s Arts Council Collection work, Punk Portraits (1977), Wakefield-born performance poet Matt Abbott has created a series of new poetry, especially for the Arts Council Collection.

Sheffield-born poet Joey Connolly was commissioned to produce two new poems in response to Arts Council Collection Touring Exhibition, On Paper.

WATCH Jackie Kay - Vault

Yorkshire Sculpture Park commissioned acclaimed poet Jackie Kay to write poems in response to National Partners exhibition, Tread Softly. Kay's poems were published in a free pamphlet and placed on the gallery walls.
