ADMISSION & OPENING TIMES

Please note the exhibition programme does not run continuously and that Longside Gallery is only open to the public during exhibition times.

Tickets are £6.00 and include parking. Tickets are free for under 18’s, Friends of YSP, with an Annual Ticket pass and residents of Bretton, Haigh or High Hoyland. You can purchase tickets here: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ysp-tickets-tickets-113327074330 

Admission to Longside Gallery is included in your ticket purchase.
Longside Gallery is open during exhibition times: Thursdays - Sundays and bank holidays, 11am - 4pm
Yorkshire Sculpture Park grounds and Centre: Daily, 10am–5pm

GETTING TO LONGSIDE GALLERY

There is no onsite parking at Longside Gallery (except limited spaces for Blue Badge holders).

Footpath 

Visitors may follow the walking route from YSP (approx. 2km each way). Please note that the route follows an uneven path with uphill stretches and may not be suitable for some visitors. 

There is no onsite parking at Longside Gallery except for Blue Badge holders. Blue Badge spaces are available on a first come first served basis. 

 

GETTING TO YORKSHIRE SCULPTURE PARK 

By Road

Longside visitors are advised to park at Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The Park is situated on the A637, one mile from junction 38 of the M1. 7 miles outside of Wakefield and 20 miles south of Leeds in West Yorkshire. SatNav WF4 4JX brings you to the main car park.

YSP is served by Leeds-Bradford, Doncaster-Sheffield and Manchester International Airports, all within a 90-minute drive away.

All visitors need to book a ticket in advance, so that we can manage numbers onsite, keep everyone safe, and follow NHS track and trace guidelines. Your ticket includes car parking. Parking machines will not be in use. Parking charges apply for all visitors, including blue-badge holders.

Coaches – please report to the information desk on arrival.

By Train

Wakefield Westgate is the nearest main line station, around seven miles from Longside Gallery. Visitors may travel to YSP to join the shuttle or take a taxi directly to Longside Gallery.
A taxi from the station costs in the region of £14. Book online at www.wakefieldcars.com. The journey from London King’s Cross to Wakefield takes around two hours.

By Bus
